The NPP Construction App (available here: npp.nsdalab.com/) breaks a nuclear power plant construction project into stages to explore how design changes or supply chain disruptions affect the cost and time to build the power plant.
The NSDA AI is a chat-based AI platform designed to answer nuclear regulatory and design questions. It is trained on regulatory and design documents. NSDA AI responses are intended to minimize "hallucinations" (errors inherent in AI models), which make traditional AI unreliable in highly-regulated, safety-critical environments.
